Dream spec would be a Bianco Italia or Bianco Fuji (pearl whites) with red interior, carbon seats, all of the interior and exterior carbon. Yes I am aware that cruise control is an option, gotta love Ferrari price gouging, lol.

I'm not a big fan of tan or plain black interior (without contrast stitching at least). It's just hard finding a great spec with the right ownership history, service records, and not asking an absurd price. We have no sales tax for private party sales here so that's a major limiting factor too, dealer tax is 8.4% tor comparison so private party saves ~$15k vs dealer purchase. That limits the market quite a bit.

The 997 GTS is great and I would agree that the 991.1 GTS is probably the best overall sportscar under ~$120k that isn't quite into exotic territory. For $90-120k I don't think you can really do better these days other than simply preferring an older generation like the 997. Even when comparing something like a 458, the 991 is far more usable on a regular basis and obv the 458 is a differet class/price point.

Took my 2018 AMR out today. One of the last 10 ever made. Gym then the long way home. Always the long way home in this car. Just a snorting analogue experience. 6 speed, hydraulic steering, naturally aspirated V8. Pure therapy.

Congrats on the Wrath, ive not had the opportunity to ride in one but they sure look boss! U have to be a certain person to rock that so good luck.

The 458 is a great car, my cuz has it as part of our family scuderia (lol) for 3years now in Bianco Italia with a black interior and yellow contrasting stitching and its a great drive. Seeing your wish list build is gonna be near impossible to find so I wouldnt wait for all those carbon bits as they are just not available.

Fyi, There is an amazing one on Dupont now in white with an insane two tone blue/cream interior that you may want to check out. We had considered trading his for that one bit we decided that we’ll look for a Speciale next year as the upgrade as we have a sweet 997.2 GT3 RS with 8500 miles incoming next week, just need to install a front lift kit to get into the stable!

We’ve had a bunch of 911s and while we really like the 991s(had a C4 daily for a few years) and the 992s, they are just too big imo and too far removed from the rawness. Im a 993fan and he loves the 997s and thats our sweet spot for 911s as we also had a 83 g-body that was made into an RSR tribute as a little rocket, as well as 72 911S full rotissery restoration(that was traded for the 458)

I just bought my dream car after many years of looking, an ‘06 F430 in a likely one of one combo, Mirabeau blu with a two tone Nero/Rosso interior and full carbon fiber pack, CF door sills, paddle shifters and rear diffuser. Truly a stunning car, its a keeper.

Its been a while since ive been on and cant seem to figure out how to post a pix from my iphone, (im not using the app)so ill try to log on later from my desktop to post some pix

For sure!

My own personal analog Time Machine… a ‘76 saloon.

The light weight, direct steering, manual gearbox, and dual sidedrafts are pretty intoxicating. A simpler blast from the past. For when I need to leave the digital behind..

Rather a bit.

Pic of my brother’s new car that he just got a few days ago. Traded his Stelvio on it. I really like it. I’m a BMW nut (can’t even count how many I have owned) but I think I’d rather get one of these over the G series 3er. They are very cool. It even has retro Alfa gauges on the digital dash. Why can’t BMW do a retro orange dash on their digital thing?

P.S., Oh. And yes. He had the Stelvio 3 years. Never left him stranded. Much prefers this though

P.P.S., I think 997 was the last desirable 911. I’d still like a 993 most though if I ever moved to a house with a huge garage.

Love it.

I once owned a ‘73 in Colorado (the colour not the state - some irony there ).

Thanks guys! I appreciate it.

Yeah, my 02 is my automotive passion. I’ve had it for over 25 years now - it started as my daily, and I’ve been personalizing and modding it since I got it (it’s never done). It puts a big stupid grin on my face every time I’m driving it. A fun little beasty…

A few more gratuitous pics…

997.2 GTS all the way. Bonus points for hydraulic steering and short wheelbase. Both will be collectibles. Wish I could find a nice manual example at a reasonable price.

For PDK I would easily take the 991.1 GTS over the 997.2 GTS, the PDK is just much better in the newer car. It would be pretty close for a manual though.

I've put a couple hundred miles on the Wraith now and after having so many low slung rough suspension sports cars, it is truly incredible how smooth it is and how effortless the passing power is on the highway. Obviously it is not a sports car, but the overall package is just 10/10 for me. I don't know that I'll be able to go back to something else after this. Just got the window sticker from the dealer yesterday and the MSRP was $390k in 2014, which is like $520k in today's dollars. Pretty nuts, glad someone else took the massive depreciation for me and ordered such a loaded spec.

Yes, it is incredibly difficult to find "the one" for a 458. I've been looking for 3 years now and have only found a few that would check all of the boxes. Of course, the sellers know what they have and they're usually priced much higher than market, so I'll just keep waiting until the right one comes along and the time is right. Can't do the Wraith and a 458 at the same time though, I'm that rich lol. Maybe one day.

Lol! Sounds awesome… I get it though as im like that, i have a great daily in my X4M comp and the the f430 fun car and for me it would not make sense to get another sports car at this point as i can only fit one in the garage! If i get to next level at the office maybe ill add a 993, but to do so I gotta blow out the garage which will be the darn cost of the car so its a big investment for the next one as the f430 isnt going anywhere. Ill be adding even more CF to the car with fabspeed airboxs and Capristo headers to start, then maybe a Capristo exhaust too! So if u find the near right 458 u can add lots of CF too even if not there day1
I wish you luck with the Wraith and the future 458 hunt, they are alot of fun too!

Here are a few pixx
