Hi Guys,
So I had a two color schemes in mind for my wheels on an all Black E93.
I liked the Red and Black look but I also liked a very very dark Purple.
I had the powder coat shop do some test wheels which I posted below.
I ended up going with Dark Purple...Curious what you guys thought?

Wheels are 19' AG M590's.

FYI - I found the Powder Coater in Los Angeles that does the "Factory" power coating for many well known brands we all have on our cars...These guys do PERFECT WORK...Amazing quality for pennies...really crazy how reasonable they are. I bet the contrast on your black car looks great!
That tone of red is way to bright and wouldn't have looked good.

Chrome Deleted (Wrapped flat Black) and Debadged

The purple looks awesome! Actually all the wheels look great to tell you the truth. Full red would have been badass.

Red and Black was the fallback choice....I wanted to see if the powder coater could come up with a Blackish Purple. They custom mixed this Purple Black Pearl and it works perfectly...

I'll post mounted wheels next week from the BAA shop in So Cal!

Love the color on the far right

I messed around with a purple/black mix with plastidip, before sending my wheels to the powdercoater. did a couple coats of purple with a thin coat or two of black on top, and I really liked how they turned out. Having them powdercoated this winter (just mounted my winter setup)





The photos don't show the final color all that well, but it turned out nice. I'd only go as purple as you're talking if my car could pull it off, which it's just too stock for that. a set of 19's and slightly lower stance would make that look great.

When on your computer writing a post, there will be a button near the bottom that says "manage attachments". Then upload pics there.
