Lowered xi alignment specs
I was wondering what to ask for when bringing the e92 in for an alignment. I am lowered on kw v1 and a rear m3 sway.
No track days but drive pretty spiritedly. I'm looking for something that will also get me decent tire wear. Any suggestions? |

Find a good indie shop or have a good indie shop recommend an alignment shop to you. A lot of the chain tire stores will not touch BMWs in my experience. Or you can just go to BMW but be prepared for the cost.

After lowering my E90xi (eibach prokit springs), I asked my indy for a little more sporty alignment spec and he did mine as by a E90i with sport package which is a little more camber than on our xi's. Sorry I don't have actual specs, but turn-in and road holding is very good in spirited driving and since it's still OEM, uneven tire wear should be minimal.

I've tried an Indy shop in North Salem and The Shop CT in norwalk. Don't ever go there. They misaligned my xi e92 and used RWD e90 specs, which weren't even within spec. Brought it back and they fucked up the second alignment too. Car smelled like cooked clutch when I picked it up. Which car do you have? I'm on mobile so I can't see. |
