Which tires came with your 235i?

I was disappointed to get mine with all season run flats. BMWUSA spec sheet shows staggered pilots as the tire. I checked with the dealer and that is the way my car came.

The other 235i also came with all season tires, but unlike mine, were staggered. Anyone have an idea and what did your car come with?

The Pilot Super Sports are the standard tire. If you got something else, it was added as an option.

We had those on a 328. Never again. Besides with summer tires and a winter setup, you come out about the same $-wise when you don't have to replace the first set as often.

My order says ' ...436M w/mixed Summer Tires'. Will that be Runflat or traditional tire?
I wouldn't mind Runflats - I just didn't want the restricted speed along with All-Season tires.
Figure I'll be getting approximately 10k miles from the rears if I'm lucky.

Pirelli Cinturato P7s, 225 all the way around. I was upset they put 7.5" rims on all 4 corners when everything showed a staggered setup. I'm still working with my dealer to remedy the issue.

It's not a question of what they come with, as if it's an unknown variable. The standard, if you don't change anything, is the PSS. Your dealer picked the tire option when ordering, which changed them. Given that information, it's up to you if you want to talk with your dealer about getting the standard tires, but if it were me, I definitely would be trying. The PSS are amaze.

It's actually a horrible 130 mph, which will surely be a huge inconvenience for the poor guy.

Really how many people ever get to drive a car 130+. I've only ever done it twice in my E46 M3 and my E93 335. If I never do it again it won't matter. Now if you were going to track it that's different but if not your chance of killing yourself are pretty good. Forget about getting a ticket going that fast, it may sound great but it works a lot better in movies and car reviews than in reality.

The one that's selected is the Michelin PSS, but I know some dealerships order for you with other tires.

Unless you are in Germany with plenty of derestricted autobahn, you probably wouldn't miss the difference between 130 and 155. Even if you plan on tracking the car it is rare to hit those speeds, at least with the tracks I am aware of.

Always ask the salesman for a build sheet or vehicle inquiry report, one I had on order had ordered run-flats w/o asking, only way to know is get that sheet and keep then you will have documentation on what you ordered. Also make sure it has your production number on it

My car was on the lot that way.

I bought mine off the lot as it had the color, the six speed, the nav and the premium package. Essentially everything I wanted (except an alarm and a backup camera). Dealer told me that it came that way and was not even aware of the tire options. The only other 235i had the same tires. As I will likely go with 19s down the line, and an ecu tune, not too worried about 130mph or current setup.

Possible setup:

I went with AS as I figured I would probably buy a separate set of 19s with summers.

130mph limit doesn't bother me at all.
