I think his name was Alexispooling? They both had "White e90" listed as their garage though, but he didn't have his location as Denver.

OP - Get a 5 gallon gas jug. Go fill it up with the lowest octane you can find (probably 85 or 87) and put it in your gas tank. Top it all the way off with the lowest octane possible.
That will hopefully bring the octane rating low enough to at least keep the car running so you can finish that tank of gas and never add 3 bottles of octane booster again.
If you want more power try some e85. Just PLEASE do some research first!

This is the same guy, he changed his name while the Vince thread was going on.

So did Terry blow up his DME? Or was it the dealership? Maybe he could blame the octane booster manufacturer? Anybody but the person too stupid to read directions on the bottle, right?

BTW, this is from April so I'm not sure he's still having the car issue. The mental issue yes, car issue probably not.

OP, why not print out your Vincent pillow talk thread so your SA can help you file a case with BMWNA?

I am almost certain they will stand behind you in light of those facts and help you resolve the issue 100%

Oh wait....damn, mods got to it first.

I think its time for this guy to sell his car and test his luck with the Honda, Subaru, or Toyota community.

He clearly doesn't know anything about maintaining or taking care of the n54 or any german car for that matter. Honda's are pretty idiot proof so I think he may have better luck with 3 bottles of octane booster in a '90s civic.
Also, that community is full of ignorant stupid 18 year old's who probably have experience making the same dumb mistakes he makes.
