Another JB4 N55 Vargas Turbo Dyno

Just saw this posted and thought you guys might find it interesting. The car is running a CPE catted downpipe, 93 octane, JB4, and back end flash. They've recently redesign the JB4 software and back end flash for large turbo cars.

I was just getting ready to post this, thanks Mike. 463WHP and 483WTQ on 93 pump gas only is nothing to sneeze at. A stage 1 style upgrade is not going to bring you anything close to this. Thanks to Terry at BMS for continually pushing our upgrade and N55 forward

Truth be told the 463 whp number is on pump + meth buddy.

The 410 whp number is on pump gas only

But all smart comments aside a stage 1 isn't going to net you 400+whp on 93 alone maybe 360whp max..

I don't know what some of you guys in the U.S. are thinking. The Dyno shown in the PureTurbos Stg1 Thread is from an European Dyno. What a European Dyno reads BHP is nearly exactly the same what your Dynos are reading as whp. Reason is that your dynos are just different. 460BHP on European Dyno = 460whp on your american dynos. I've told you that before. There are some exceptions though.

This has been addressed. People seem to either not want to understand it or, honestly do not. A stage 1 upgrade is going to net you 45-70WHP in the higher RPM range over a stock turbo, if tuned properly and fueled right. For what they cost, ours included not a bad deal. But nothing compared to what a Stage 2 style upgrade can offer powerwise.

Tony is always saying he likes to have people with correct expectations. So i am just correcting the small mistake he made.

It has nothing to do with smart comments. I am just correcting some misinformation. Before you know it a thread on another forum comes up with false claims.

Bhp isnt to the wheels. Euro dynos are not the same as ours before you can claim whp numbers you have to correct the bhp or crank hp and convert them into whp numbers.

Vargas stage 2 dyno shows 410whp on nothing but 93 oct which i think with a little more timing and change the catted downpipe to uncatted you can probably get 10-20hp more. I dont see a stage 1 getting 410whp on nothing but 93oct

No, a stage 1 isn't going to hit the numbers of the VTT stage 2, that should be obvious. Have to wait for the Pure stage 2 to come out
