The first season was raw. I still watch it because of how much I enjoyed the first season. I wish theyd get run off the farm by hoards already... Character development is important... But so is maintaining the level of intensity with which they had originally set the pace IMO...

from the previews I've seen it looks like its gonna get pretty good real fast. a lot more zombie action. one preview even showed Ricks son staring down a zombie that seemed feet away about to shoot its head off.

one of my coworkers is really into zombie stuff and stopped watching the show because it was unrealistic. He said they were doing everything wrong in certain situations. I'll take his word he's pretty hardcore with his zombie knowledge lol

writers should have just followed the comic book, but i'm not sure if the audience would enjoy how grim the comic book is. i'm waiting for a tornado to kill all the characters or the writers to be shot/fired.

if anybody wants to watch a good tv show...watch game of thrones! the books are even better.

last night's episode was pretty intense from the start....looks like Rick and Shane are gonna do battle.

ps. tell me i'm not the only f*cker that would've left that kid impaled on the fence to die?!

Last night's episode was kind of a snoozer....it started out good but they didn't show how all the guys got back to the farm (or what else happened with all the walkers)...no REAL cliffhanger either....

I was disappointed as well. The kid on the fence is toast (or would have been if it were me). They had a fantastic opportunity to show some great zombie action as they made their way to the farm (had to take them a while, since it went from daylight when Rick killed the two guys, to nighttime, to saytime when they came back to the farm). I found that part a little disappointing. However, the show is definitely back on track for this second half of the season. (It's actually still season 2. They took a mid-season break).

Seriously. The bastard was just shooting at you. I would have left his ass to be eaten.

leaving his ass to be eaten would have been a good strategy to distract the walkers so the other 3 could get away...

If shane were there he would have shot the kid in the other leg and said "have a nice day..." then taken off to save everyone elses ass as well as his own.

I think Rick is trying desperately to preserve some of his old world humanity, while Shane has gone fully feral.

Which one is right is really up to the viewer and why I think there is so much debate as to whether Rick or Shane is the better leader.

I hope the show in the future explores more about the world, and what the effect of the zombie epidemic has done to world governments, if there are possible holdouts and safe havens, and what the game plan is of the biggest survivor groups; simply survive or formulate a plan to take back the world.

absolutely. I've been wondering where the rest of the world is/what they're doing. Obviously not everyone has turned into a walker. It could be really cool if they start exploring what else is out there or they get back to the road and start heading north or something....I guess that would bring a lot of risk but it would make for some really good TV.

Yes, I was hoping that going to Fort Benning(sp?) would explain why the U.S military was overwhelmed by slow, walking, zombies.

Dr. Jennings did say in Season 1 that France almost had a cure, but then they lost all contact. I wish they would expand on that.
