Baby back ribs with extra bbq sauce, make sure to work in any dripping bbq sauce into the leather, it really brings out the sheen.

Beef jerky. It isn't a road trip without it.

No food is allowed in my cars
Water is the sole exception

My wife's car is totally different
Last time, when we were trading in the XC-90 for the X3
I always check under the seats, you find dropped CDs, toys etc
I found a chicken bone
You know the 2 small bones in the wing?
Once of those
Swine then kids or wife don't eat in car
I also don't carry food inside the car, only in the trunk

My rules (I have a 3 year old, and a 1 month old), water is the only liquid, only dry food that won't stain, Gold fish, crackers etc

for real food, pit stop

Depends on the age I think. I've found a baggie of cheerios keeps them busy for at least 20 minutes. Vacuums easy too. It's also good airplane food if you're flying with real young kids. Mine are 1 & 2.

Older..beef jerky.

McD chicken nuggets. If you drop one between the center console and your seat, you will find it years later in perfect condition.
