Scammer in US? No Way!

I placed an ad online trying to sell my X-Box 360 Elite which I ended up not needing.

I've gotten some replies but this one is the most BS one I've seen so far!

I receive a call from him he sounds like a black teenager that sounds very honest and wants to truely buy it. He asks for a quote for UPS and UPS only for overnight shipping. I respond back with $75 and he gives me the zip code of 28216.

I send a request from PayPal for a payment and he sends me back this crap. I cut off alot of images and pricing crap and this is the main jist of it.

What a douchebag. I asked him for his telephone number and he gave me 704-837-9882 which I confirmed by calling.

I asked for his shipping address and he gave me this.

Hey, one out of every 100 people probably fall for that crap. Just like the Ebay seller who sold an Xbox for 1000 bucks when it first came out. People got a shipment via UPS with the Actual Xbox's BOX...

The greedy idiot I was, I sent away a new PSP to some smartass in Nigeria for free. Boy... did I learn my lesson. I have to give the guy props for setting up such a good scam, lol.

Now that you have his address, tell him to send you a pre-paid box, so you can mail it to him easier. Then fill the box with poo, and mail it out. He will get to enjoy the spoils of his work

Oh! Now that makes sense! I honestly thought you were pulling our legs with some random photos.

vAnt maybe you should report this to PayPal at the very least, along with all the info. I usually forward random phishing e-mails to spoof@paypal.com, but maybe you can call them or something to get in touch with a person. This is a live one you have here.

Be careful, even with PayPal. Some Lithuanian guy bought me a phone out of eBay, I got the money on my PayPal account and I transfered it to my bank account. So far so good. I sent the phone, no problem. A few days letter PayPal informed me that they canceled the transaction because the guy was using a fraudulent Visa card... What the f*ck??? I had to pay PayPal back... So even if the money is on your account, it's not done yet.

paypal sucks....in my opinion, just recently i sold a paintball gun, everything was going nice and smooth until i got a letter from paypal saying the same thing, that i had to provide a tracking number to get my hands on the funds. I was like what the heck.....in the end...... the buyer got his product and i had to wait two weeks to get my hands on the funds, after constant e-mails to paypal to send me my money.....

Never send out anything untill payment has been received and cleared. You never know when a chargeback might occur. It's better for the guy to wait a couple more days than for you to lose the money. PayPal is really anal when it comes to chargebacks. You need shitloads of evidence and the process takes forever.

& LMAO at the pics.

paypal is horrible

When the Wii came out I slept overnight with friends to buy up a bunch of them to resell on ebay. I successfully did, but as soon as I had a balance of over like $2500 in my account they put all my money on hold and requested me to do ridiculous verification things like send them all the receipts from shipped items and fax them some crap. I don't have all the USPS receipts since they already arrived at the seller's place and I had feedback from them! I don't even have a fax either. It took me about 1.5 months to get my money and I was scared I couldn't pay my damn credit card bills on time. WTF is wrong with Paypal? I will never use them again for selling items, only if I'm buying something for insurance purposes.
