Ya but in this global economy its survival of the fittest. If they produced a decent car then they would not be in this shit hole right now. Those 4 companies did not offer me a single car that I was interested in. Maybe the GTO but that's it.

I hate to see the American industry fall like it is, but that's what they get for running such a piss-poor company for so long. Most of those companies exchanged so many parts/models and rebadged vehicles that if one fell they all would fall. Just hate to think how much the CEO's robbed the American public. Yuck.

Saab was interesting. I enjoyed the interior a lot because it was so unique - things like the key being in the center and the dash layout echoing an airplane were very cool. It's a shame to see it go.

I read an article in the USA Today about this. Said something that Saab only sold 350-ish cars this year, while Lexus sold over 18,000+. Quite sad. . .

The example of piss-poor decisions was the decision to buy SAAB in the first place. That's partially what killed GM; trying to save crap car companies like SAAB.

shame, i can think of many car brands that have NO RIGHT to exist anymore as they make garbage products.

SAAB is good brand and nice cars but they were way to expensive. Germans beat them.

There is a last-gasp effort from Spyker:

Good luck to Saab.

Have Fun,
