They get pissed when I play with their food. Especially treat.
I enticed them with chicken flavor treat when I took that pics since they really don't stay in same position more than 1 sec.
I did it for first two pics.
and the last pic, they became relaxed since they got what they wanted. haha
And too bad for cali ppl! ferret is the coolest pet I've ever had!

Cute but stinky. My brother in-law had a couple when we were younger, my akita almost ate one. The thing bit him on the nose (he was probably in the ferret's food), and we came home to a dead ferret and a lot of blood.

wooooooo.... thats scary story.

There are a lot of product that kills ferret's smell.

I use one that mix with their water. So, they don't smell bad now.

Akita is big size dog... the owner shouldn't put their ferret any near them.

Well, Enzo, the female one, bit the shit out of my friend's cat it was pretty fun.

How are they on an intellectual level? Do they understand basic commands like a dog? You know...sit, stay, come here, etc.? It'd be tight to have one.

My akita was 130 lbs, very big. But the ferret was segregated from the dog. Bodhi just found a way in.

No they don't do anything like that.

But they know you are the one who gives them a food and take care.

Both of mine don't bites me, but bites other ppl.

They are fun lol just get one.

def. less $$ and less care than dogs. They sleeps 20/7 at least. So I can do what I have to do in daytime, and just play with them for 3~4 hrs at night.

my friend has a ferret... I hate it so much.. it always tries to eat my jackets and insists on trying to crawl up ppl's asses...

it's name is captain flipper
cuz he takes it from the back, and makes it back flip on his bed...

all ferrets that you can get from pet store are neutered/spayed and descented. They don't smell terrible if you care them properly (shower once a week and some deodorizer spray every 2~3 days).

I trained them to stay calm all the time. Not flipping or anything. They also know where to take their shit/pee. nice and smart animal.

Only bed thing they do is flipping over their feed bowl when the food are not fresh.
Then I just don't give them any food until they eat all the food on their cage floor.

I'm lazy, too.

I just throw them into decent size bucket and fill it up with warm water + ferret shampoo.

wait for 5 mins and rinse them.

To dry, just throw a big size bath towel on the floor. Thats it! they will dry themselves.

and spraying the deodorizer... takes 2 secs.
