HELP!!!

anyone here is an expert at video editing?? I have to edit a video for class but have no idea how to add MP3 tracks to it. I've tried using Windows Movie Maker but I dont think it will let me add songs to the clips. I also have Adobe Premiere Pro but have no idea how to use it. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Over here, BMWE90!

Premiere is set up pretty much like Ulead Media Studio Pro. You've got a video track and an audio track. If the program won't let you add .mp3, then convert the audio file to a .wav and use that instead...that will definitely work. Any questions along the way, let me know.

Here, this screenshot is from Ulead, but it should give you a pretty good idea of what you've got to do. The tan colored bar (Va) is Video A...basically an electronic illustration of physical film. As you scroll across this Va, the frames should move and your player should play the frames as you scroll across.

The audio section below (Aa, Ab, A1, etc) is used for putting in different audio sections. If you have one steady stream of audio, then Va would be one complete section. However, when you start editing, you can transpose audio over other audio to blend them together. There are a ton of neat little settings for this, you just need to play around. In my movie below, audio1 will start playing, then when it reaches audio2, both sounds will play until audio1 runs out.

Once the video goes through final encoding, and you've created a new video file, if you insert this new file into the editor, your editing of two (or more) streams of audio will be gone and you'll have only one steady stream of audio.
