Yikes, that really sucks. Those people would be such douches if they didn't give her at least the $30k that she is asking for. Totally fair, IMO.

I don't get why people are so lazy to copy/paste

here is the text if like me, you are too lazy to click:

-----------------------------------------

Practical jokes can sometimes be amusing but when they're taken this far, there's nothing funny about them. Just ask Annie Wilson, who not only lost many of her most prized possessions but her mother's home because of one.

The family owned a house right next to the campus of Jackson State University in Mississippi. Not long ago, the college bought the lot next door, hoping to expand the campus. A contractor was hired to tear down what was currently sitting on the land and begin the process of building the new facility.

But at some point, some unknown person or persons switched the sign that featured the address and a notice saying the property belonged to the school. It wound up on Wilson's lot, unbeknownst to her, the school - or the contractor, who showed up at the site, saw the sign, and went to work demolishing everything in sight.

Not long afterwards, the Jackson-area resident received a stunning call from the gardener who'd come to cut the grass: the 713-square foot house and all the possessions that were in it were gone, reduced to a pile of rubble by wrecking crews who were just following orders. A neighbouring home was also razed.

Real estate values are very different in the small town than what Toronto is used to and it turns out an appraiser had told Wilson before the mix-up that her 1950s-era home was worth just over $10,000.

The university offered her just $8,000 in compensation last May. Then the state's finance department came up with a figure of $20,000.

But Wilson argues she deserves at least $30,000 because she didn't lose just her home but everything that was inside of it, too - including handmade quilts, antique furniture and some irreplaceable family photos. A local paper quotes her as having gone through a "nightmare."

So far, there's no word on whether a new offer is forthcoming - but legal experts unaffiliated with the incident fear she may have to hire a lawyer, adding to her expense - and the likelihood that her case could take 'years' to resolve.

Authorities still don't know who relocated the sign.

Even in Canada, a lawyer would get her 100K. Talk about emotional trauma.

lol @ 1973.

Thanks for asking!
Today was my official day. It was a typical first day thing, practicing on the system I'll be using, creating a dummy client docket.....best part of my day though was a manager telling me, "I know how your eyes would get staring at a computer all day. Take a couple cars out for a drive".
Me= lol
So one of the cars I took for a spin and was available was an E92 335i.

Test driving the cars by yourself can get you in trouble (I had 11 cars in 8 years, lol). Test driving with customers can be scary (I definitely have stories).

11 cars in 8 years?!

As part of my job description package, it lists the steps to take when you end up going on a test drive with a psycho. lol

How about the douche that wanted to treat a 7 Series like it was a Formula 1 car and do high speed lane changes.... in a 35 MPH zone. I had to tell him to calm down. Or the woman that was bitching so much about the dealership and her perception of how she was being treated, I told her to pull over and get out.
