Installed $30 front lip (ez-lip)
Hi All,
After seeing the ez-lip installed on user Simonnn's beautiful car (see his car here) I decided to give it a shot. What's the worst that could happen when it's only $30 + $5 shipping? I have to say it's probably the best $<50 mod I've done on any of my cars. I'll be lowering my car soon, so if I end up destroying it I'll just buy another one It's not as in your face as a true aftermarket front lip, but I think it accents the car really well. My only plan is to cut off the ends at an angle so it flows a bit better towards the end of the bumper. Sorry my car is a bit dirty :-\ Hope you enjoyed the pics, let me know what you think! Thanks! Thanks for the kind words contrast of the lip looks better against your white car over my black! I do notice that it looks like yours is angled slightly more upwards than mine, maybe its just the pics though.
Either way it looks good for such a cheap mod! |

Is the EZ-Lip the same thing as us American's making Home Depot lips, i.e. moldable rubber sealing lip?

I will take a few more pictures tomorrow when I have my car out if the garage. I think it will be easier to see in natural light.

I took a couple pictures outdoors, but the problem is that the shadow the front bumper creates makes it somewhat hard to see the outline of the front lip.

Thanks guys! Ive driven a few hundred miles with it now and it still looks great (other than seemingly managing to slay an entire colony of bugs during my trip)

I do have some left - I'm on a business trip until Wednesday night but I will try and remember to do a sample piece of the side skirt when I get home.

Let me know if you still want a pic of something, but I'm guessing Dushkara's pic should answer your question. |

So this is a Rubber Lip? It definitely looks good but if you driving 60+ is it flapping around like a rubber grommet?
Wonder if you could wrap it in carbon fiber or even have it dipped to make it solid essentially. |

Yes it is rubber but it is stiffer than you are imagining - also a good portion of the width of the strip is taped onto the bumper so there isn't as much overhang to flap around as you would think.
