the jailbreak is out by the dev team but when is the unlock going to be out . im waiting anxiously. once this is out and is tested and proven to be working and fully functional, i will buy the phone

right now current plan is to use t-mobil SIM in states (pay as you go) and im a green light for south korea and thailand as well .

No, not really. I'd take AT&T over T-Mobile any day, and it'll come out when it comes out. I read enough tech sites that I won't miss it, and jailbreak has been out for weeks now, and still worthless. Just about all the people who made software before can make it again in the app store for free. There is limited software now that actually needs to run jailbroken.

i still think software unlock is the best solution. you think give it take 4-5 months you can buy a 16gb iphone 3g used for like $350-400 on ebay?
