Surely explore San Francisco, then try north over the Golden Gate Bridge & take Hwy 1 up through Marin, Sonoma & Mendocino. Stunning scenery & beaches. Then swing over to Humboldt & check out the redwoods & our beaches. Bring a coat.
No matter what you decide there's amazing sights & sounds throughout the state.
