I won a total of 6000 in a week at a casino and lost it all back yesterday in a night..

The feeling is hard to take. What do you guys think i should've spent the money on instead??

i have won more than $1k a night before... but a few months ago, i lost $900 two nights in a row... after that blow, i decided to stop going to the casino for the next 1 year... that was my new years resolution. havent stepped foot in one since.

Think of it this way: you got to have several hours of fun, for free.

When I gamble, I assume that all the money I put in is just paying for the fun I'm going to have losing it. And then, at the end of the day, if I walk out with anything, then it's money in the bank...

Just think... if you had taken your money and put it into a retirement account and earned 10% you would have around 100k in 30 years (assuming you are around 30-35)---> Bummer.

Not that anyone in America ever thinks this way... and no it doesn't account for inflation.
