Any actual data on ACC Stop & Go?

First off, I actually don't mind it and so far I have left it on to do its thing.

I understand in theory you are stopping and the motor saves fuel, but in real world is that doing anything? Barring I spend 1 hour twice a day in complete stop and go traffic does the average driver see anything out of this? .25 gallon of year? less?
