+1 and Leonardo Dicaprio.

I'd go with James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman. Freeman's never been in a bad movie.

Guess I like voice over people.

There are many greats, past and present, but I have to concur with OP on Clint Eastwood. If you haven't seen Gran Torino, do yourself a favor. When you consider that he wrote, directed and starred in that movie, in addition to writing the music, enough said. Million Dollar Baby is another. Clint started his working career in a lumber mill with limited education, this has got to be the greatest country in the world.

PS: I am an immigrant to the USA.

Eastwood, Pacino, Hanks, Daniel Day Lewis, De Niro, Nicholson, Denzel, Walken. Arnold is respected buy not for acting abilities. The others, Smith, Pitt, Leo, etc aren't there yet. They need more time to reach the highest escalon.
Honorable mentions Ian Mckellon, Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren, Judi Dench.

One actor has been relevant as an actor and director for over 50 years: Eastwood

Streep is also on this level...

A friend in the biz told me Keanu gave away most of his Matrix millions to the crews that worked his movies. True?

Awesome guy - just not sure his body of work compares to others who have had more distinguished careers.

John Wick was deliciously violent in all its splendor however

Woody Allen has a similar track record in active years, awards, and occupation.
But in a totally different genre obviously.
