Does anyone know if voice guidance can be disabled with coding?

Currently my can only allows:

Gong
Simple
Normal

I'd like the option of OFF. I have this before in my M3 but the F06 doesn't allow this.

Help pls!

By Voice Guidance, are you referring to the Navigation instructions when a Route is defined?

Hi everyone.
I coded the DVD in Motion function a while ago but I 'de-coded' it due to it being a distraction! What I would like to do is be able to listen to my DVD's whilst driving but at the moment I need to pull over and apply the handbrake before I can access the menu and press play or skip chapters. If the DVD has already started then it seems fine but if I want to change during a long journey it's a real PITA
Is there a way to code my specific requirement or is it all or nothing???
Hope this makes sense

Hi.
Can I code my car so that every time I turn it on it remembers my last driving mode? For example Sport?
I've already set it so that 'Eco Slow' is turned off by default but I've found myself using the Sport setting (just the drivetrain) a lot more recently and I think it would be good to have it remember my last setting...
Any ideas people???
TIA!

You cannot code Sport as the default startup mode.

Coding the Joystick

I'm sure the iDrive round joystick input device has a more specific name but it escapes me at the moment.

My question: is it possible to program/code the joystick to control the volume? When you push it up or down within a song or whatever, it reacts and animates but clearly doesn't do anything.

WHY you may ask. Simple. I drive with my left hand on the wheel which is far away from the volume up/down switch on the right side of the steering wheel OR the volume knob on the console which again must be operated with the right hand. I prefer to keep my right hand on the joystick.

Thoughts?

I don't believe there is an option to do this as the volume was never intended to be tied in with the iDrive controller.

M Digital Tacho

Hi, wondering coding for M Digital Tacho is compatible on a base F30 with the extended cluster. Does this show up on the iDrive screen or is this for the HUD display?
