I think I saw BPC post somewhere, and for all the custom work they did it was like $30k. Forget where I saw that at, might have been on FB. At that point better to get an N54 or DIY. Or if you just have the money laying around...

Yeah the N52 isn't the engine of choice if you want to race in an E9X. High reving S65? yes please. 700whp + DCT + drysump FTW.

If production, you would see $10k in parts at most. On the side note, has anyone seen Flex-Fuel (real Flex, not just only certain mix percentage) for N52? I like the smell of it and it runs well in summer heat, even more power in winter. These people selling, are they legit? https://www.advancedfueldynamics.com...r-bmw-328i-n52 |

if you got the coin and the willingness to lose your AC system (if it's a bonafide toy, then I suppose you're safe).

What you think about N52B25 as a base for building boosted engine if used with N52B30 crank?
Bore is 3mm smaller and I bet it's the same casting than N52B30. Is 3mm thicker walls worth anything? Is the head same? EDIT: Ofc. It is not. Smaller valves, different inlet cam seem to be the difference at least. Inlet ports likelly smaller. Just a thought as there is seemingly much more supply of N52B25. All of them burning oil for sure. There is one going for 150eur. I'm tempted. Last edited by k90; 12-12-2023 at 06:53 AM.. |
