You get a chevron gift card for free but it has a $0.00 balance on it. You have to pay cash and have the cashier put money on it (or in it?). You take it out to the pump and swipe it. You wait about 10-15 seconds and then the screen says watch as we lower our prices. Sure enough, the diesel went from 3.39 down to 2.69 (70 cents per gallon reduction). Some chevron stations don't offer any discount for using the gift card. You have to ask. Some stations don't have the ability to even put money on the card and thus can't give you a better deal than if you just used a credit card at pump.

I have only seen 2 places that have the green sign out at the road showing cash price. Gas buddy now has the ability to enter cash or credit prices.

price in Puerto rico is 74 cents a lieter that would translate .74 x 3.78(a US gal)=$2.7972= $2.80 a gallon

gas is 85 cents for 91 octane and 95 for 93 octane and our FUCKING government just raised taxes in crude to a whooping 15 cents BUT DIESELS are exempted in the tax increase woohoo!!!

Nice to see that Diesel is going down - even in my neck of the woods.

Went from $3.77 to $3.75 and has stayed there while oil drops to $62.

I just hope Diesel can get close to the cost of premium gas again or it's really going to hurt the resale value of our cars. The report seems to say that's not looking likely which is really troubling.
