Question looking at getting exhaust tips on my 335i, what size opening on tips fit?

So was looking at exhaust tips on Amazon, and the size is 2.25 opening, 3.5" exit and 7" long. Would 2.25 fit the stock muffler?

Garage List
3.5 inch or 4 inch depending on preference. DiMisa or Cyba are best choices.

This. 3.5, up to 4", depending upon your rear bumper / diffuser setup.

I fit a Dinan free flow exhaust with 4 inch tips just fine with an M sport rear.

2.25 should be correct, mine were 2.5 but they made it work. My tips are 4 inch outer diameter and it fills up the cut outs perfectly.

3.5 inch tips fit the opening nicely. You need to have some room for thermal expansion. Otherwise, you're going to melt your bumper. I've seen 4 inches work before, but it was beginning to melt his bumper. I don't know if he needed to realign it or not.
