Stable Mate: 2015 Escalade with 26" ADV1 Wheels

I called my friends at ADV1 and told them I am shopping around for a 2015 Escalade ESV (dark gray) and I would like some 26" ADV1 wheels. After discussing the model and color wheel, they gave me their rendition. I think the set looks sweet (unstated sport luxury), but I may be too opinionated. What do you guys think?

never thought an SUV would have thinner sidewalls than my M...

i'm not a big fan of 25-30 series tires on any SUV... tires need to be beefier but not as far as looking off-road style.

I like it but I'm sure I'll be in the minority. If you're not going to take it off road really then it should be fine.

Not a fan of Escalades as I think they are borderline tacky.
Those wheels would definitely push it over the line.
Why not save a few bucks and consider the GMC?

I have yet to buy aftermarket rims for a car... But I would get those! I think they look great. I may have to buy the car and the rims too.

If you get them I hope you upgrade your brakes to accommodate for the extra weight.

I appreciate the feedback and respect honest remarks: positive, negative and/or constrictive. I had a GMC Denali before and while it was nice it wasn't luxurious. The Range is too small for a family of 5 plus dog with loads of luggage (1 guy and 4 girls). Hahaha. I definitely don't want a minivan. No off-road and no towing needed but will use for ski trips. So my choices for a vehicle that can fit my family with cargo is limited.

I don't know if I would go any lower than 45 aspect ratio on an SUV. I have always liked to have aggressive all terrain tires fitted as opposed to car type city tires. But then again I use them year round.

IMO: a stock G63 is a more appropriate stable mate...or the Cayenne Turbo S...

I like the escalade and i like the wheels, but not sure 26" serves as a practical wheel size in an everyday environment unless you just plan to look at the thing parked, then it's awesome. Max id go is 24"
