what about the 67k kia K900?
Again nice car but wouldn't pay that much for Kia.

This was a 3.8 AWD and fully optioned for $52k sticker (gulp!). The option packages aren't cheap. The warranty is a nice selling point if buying.

Anyone seen or driven one?

I read a couple of reviews on pre-prodcution units I believe. C&D had a good article. Apparently Hyundai paid Lotus to consult in suspension and chassis design. C&D stated that the handling of the new car is miles ahead of the old one. If they continue to evolve and invest heavily in engineering they might catch-up to premium brands in 10y. I think Hyundai might be better positioned than Infiniti. Even Acura is lost these days.

It is not an enthusiast car but it might be an excellent value for traveling in comfort while saving 20-30K over Germans. The value is there for sure. Nuf said!

I've seen the K900 ... The Genesis is a much better looking car inside and out.

I dunno man. Lexus is trying too hard these days. Their marketing is out of control. I had more respect for the brand when it was about quality and comfort. Now they're bent on convincing us all that they're hip and ultra-high performance. The problem for me is that it's all image. Fake exhaust tips, slushbox auto, open diff, nothing impressive underneath the cars' skin. They've become cars for people who don't know a lot about cars or don't appreciate the engineering that goes into them. LFA is cool but nobody can afford the damn thing.

Just a few months until their holiday ad campaign starts again!

The new Hyundai's are amazing. The build quality is on-par with Lexus. The 2015 Genesis 4-door look nice. Their prices have certainly gone up but it's not surprising.

I love how a $52k loaded Hyundai with absolutely every luxury option you can imagine included is "a stretch" but a stripped bare BMW without even leather or a sunroof at the same price is somehow justified! SMH.

I just built a 235i online, got up to 46K and still had to pay another two grand if I wanted NAV. 46K and I still don't have NAV.

I would get the new genesis. I've always considered the first gen and will probably consider the latest to be my next sedan. I was at BMW today and walked around the automall and found a 3.8 and 5.0

Great... Gotta love them copying VAG's MMI controller. Call me a hardcore skeptic, but I still don't trust Hyundai's engineering, especially since my stepmom had an 89 Excel and had lots of bad experiences, and I still vow to this day to never own a Hyundai/Kia product. Sure, Hyundai may have come a long way since 1989 (but keep in mind I was 10 or so at the time, so 1995-1989 = 6 year old car), but I still have my doubts about them to this day.

Whenever I see the name "Hyundai", all I can think of are their $3,995 brand new cars when they first started. Most people would still associate "Hyundai" to the "cheap" cars category. I am sure the actual cars are great now but the name "Hyundai" stayed at the econ level.

So many people lambasted Lexus for using fake exhaust tips on the IS-F (I agree they look cheap). But have you seen how many other manufacturers have them now as well? Even BMW is using them on the 750. Take a look:
