Boxster Spyder

Finally saw one in person, it's beautiful. I certainly wouldn't mind owning one, practicality aside.

After a GT3, this would be the second P-car on my list to get out of the ones currently on sale. Followed one on the highway yesterday. Those twin humps on the back go a looong way in making it look better. I'd just find a splitter for the front end.

The spyder is more attractive than the coupe. It reminiscent a mini CGT.

A lot of cash for that car... And I would have my 1 or an M3 any day of the week...

Guarantee you'd change your mind if you drove one.

The only thing I don't love about that car is the tent top. I'd deal with it and shut up if I could own one and drive it though

I've wanted to get one so bad for the last year, I just don't have the money.

Such an amazing car, looks wise and driving wise. Porsche fanatics and owners of 911, GT3's, GT2's absolutely adore this car. You want to talk about presence...this car has it. Its stance is prominent and mean. Nothing out there looks like it..truly unique.

It's going to be a classic for sure, I can see it.

I might have to sell my body on the corner so I can get one

I didn't know you were a girl. So are you saying you wouldn't have a CGT, Koenigsegg, or LP640 roadster?

The cars you have listed are supercars and HP makes up for the top issues.. Its a daily driver... It has got really good ratings but for the money you could have a M3 vert... The M3 has a hard top convertible... This Porsche is for a special person.... Some one who thinks less is more....

You're right that the boxster spyder is made for a special person. Not someone who thinks less is more, but someone who values performance over amenities. I really do not think that it was designed as a daily driver - it's stripped out design would make it impractical and uncomfortable.

As far as whats on the market right now, this is the single best drivers car and best handling car under 100K. I have a friend who bought one not long ago and the car is flat out sick. Sounds fucking amazing too!
I think that Elise/Exige owners would probably disagree with you. I do think that this car does a pretty good job of splitting the difference between a regular Boxter S and an Elise though. It's my favorite Porsche at the moment, but I also love me some Lotus.

If I'm not mistaken, in a very technical comparison this car beat out a Lotus Elise (or Exige, can't remember) by matching its level of steering feedback while providing more progressive limits and filtering out unnecessary vibration in the steering wheel.

If you want the best driving experience without the amenities, it's called Ariel Atom. Sorry boxster spyder, it's been done already, and better.

Bro, those cars are hardly comparable. You couldn't drive an Ariel in rain, for one. Might as well throw out a Caterham model. I prefer those over Atoms as a whole.
