Don't get me wrong, it's got power, a whole lot of it.

Dunno why he's want to trade the 335i though, just slap some better suspension on it and get procede v2 and not only will it handle like a little asian rally car, it'll destroy a ford gt500.

i guess if thats the feel he is after.

With price not being an issue, then get the E92 M3...but the OP said he wanted to stay between 40-45K. You won't get a new M3 for that.

come on 10mph and it will destroy a gt500. i still want one even if they dont handle all that well but i'm more concerned with the reliability than the handling. i plan on test driving one in the near future but i think that i would have trouble getting one for under msrp.

ive seen quite a few with low miles. It always beena favorite car of mine, great power, plenty of room. It does look a bit dated, but who cares, its a fantastic car.

E46 M3 or E39 M5 will give you that engine feel you are looking for.

I didn't mean it as harsh as it sounded but many G drivers i know think who the hell they are cause they have one. I guess we need those g35/37 and other wannabee brands cause they make us BMW drivers look better.

I don't think price is an issue, because the OP would easily lose 10k getting out of the 335. Even if he doesn't like his next car, he could switch again, so I'd say just go with impulse, and sounds like the M3 for this month.

I actually think the last gen G's still look quite nice, and the new 2008 G35 and upcoming G37 coupe looks sweeter still. I've driven them as well, and they felt solid, although steering didn't feel quite as athletic as a BMW.

You obviously have too much money to trade cars so soon.

You are overlooking a fantastic car that would allow you to continue to enjoy your current 335 and still get a chuckable quick track car. Build a spec E30 325is. Cheap, quick, handles like a mo-fo, CHEAP, BMW, get boerd with spec racing then mod the crap out of it.
