yeh that just makes them want to pull people over all day even more...they enjoy the quick acceleration of that zo6

Hahaha yeah my friend told me about that but I didn't believe him! I guess it is true.

I hope it's patrolling the highways in the RTP area on I-40 so I can see it on the way to work some time

Garage List
2006 330xi  [9.50]
supposedly the NYPD has a seized M5 and pulls over street racers. I doubt the zo6 will last long after a few trips to the mechanics or gas station.

And I doubt that M5 will last as long as the Z06 when it goes in for service and the gas station........

You're forgetting the money they would have spent to buy a new one... The interest paid on financing a new one too. I'm sure they added to their fleet or replaced an older vehicle. Typical idiot..

I saw it at the Porsche 250 Grand Am race at Barber Motorsports Park this past weekend, I really don't even recall seeing a police radio in it!

I'm quite glad they don't use it as a patrol car as I'm driving down to Vestavia Hills tomorrow.

I would be right pissed if I blew past a Porsche and it turned out to be a cop car. It's high time they lower the police department's bugets around the country. Money's tight these days, let them spend it investigating "real" crime, like murders, burglaries, rapes and the like, and let people deal with the consequences of their driving (driving that does not kill/maim someone) on their own.
