Potential Job Candidate

I hope no one takes offense to this thread I just figured I would give it a shot.

I was curious if anyone within the boards was hiring or looking for a potential entry-level/trainee candidate? I am a recent college graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a marketing degree. Just a quick snapshot of myself, I am a three year college football varsity letterer, I've had an internship with BMW, Willis Insurance of NY (www.willis.com), and most recently wrapped up an internship with the N.Y. Jets this past July. I have also been a waiter at Friendly's food chain and worked with Mercedes-Benz as a sales assistant last year. I'm open to any positions that offer mobility within a company. For a complete resume of my background and references. pm me with an e-mail and I will gladly fax or e-mail a copy of my resume. I figured I would try something different than the Indeed.com, Career Builder, and Linkdin. As mentioned before I in no way want to take away from the purpose of the enthusiasm aspect of the site, just thought I would ask. Thank you all for your time it is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

David E. Johnson II

Dude no offense, but you're probably talking to a population of about 75% 25 and under posting in the off topic thread. Look at the threads on page one ha. They deal with tits, ass, and more tits (which is why I love the off topic thread ). Id just try CareerBuilder and such.

^ This is most likely the case though you may get lucky. At the very least you will probably get some reasonable advice. There's certainly no harm in asking

(I originally wrote more but it began to seem as if I was torpedoing your effort here and that's not at all what I was attempting. Good luck.)

Don't forget, you can always sue Farleigh Dickinson if you don't get a job.

But only if you went to all of your classes for the 3 months you were there.

And oh... You have to have a 2.7.

Jets are on a "tight budget", I'm in the interviewing process now with the insurance company but for a differnet position than what I interned for, and BMW NA is in the same position as most automakers. I just wanted to know if there were any other opportunities within my resources.

Thank you all for your input thought, I did not realize there was such a young age demographic of the site. I also didnot realize all the sites were intergrated unless more 25 year olds are buying 7 series lol.

i hate it when people refer to brokers like willis, aon, or marsh as an insurance company. they are intermediaries and in some cases reinsurers, not the acutal insurance company like AIG.
