BMW FS leasing

For those that lease, how has your experience been with BMW FS? Would you lease again, any hassle when it comes to turning in the car?

As a long time Acura owner and leasee, the Acura experience has been pretty good with the exception of one time. I never really like the deck was stacked against me. I'm just not very happy with Acura styling now. So now I'm looking to BMW. Looking forward to becoming a BMW owner.

Was in the same camp as you - big Acura fan, still have a MDX for the wife. I was going to wait out to see how the TLX delivered but I'm glad I didn't. Had a TL before my 335 and it's a night and day difference.

I have the MDX and now that the kids are a little older I'm ready for something fun. The TLX looks like my wife's Lexus IS and I'm not very impressed with the technology offerings. Now I need to determine whether to go for the 335 or the 328

i had a previous generation MDX (2010) leased and currently leasing a '14 MDX. I had zero problems leasing from Acura. Biggest bonus with them is that they have a much higher "wear & tear" allowance and able to let you rolled over unused miles into a new lease. i had a side mirror that got smacked off and they didn't charge me for it (approx $4-500)

BMW on the other hand (leased '08 135i) is a different story. 1st dealer where i got a lease return evaluation told me i owe them approx $1500-1800 in wear & tear from door dings. minor scratches and 2 worn tires. 2nd dealer told me i just owe them 1 worn tire! that's it! Luckily i was prepared and had already bought a lightly used set of tires to swap out before i actually turn in the car atrr lease end.

so, lesson here is: when returning a BMW & told you owe them for $ for wear & tear, go to a 2nd, 3rd...etc bmw dealer.

Never occurred to me to go to a different dealer. The last Acura lease return I did the dealer said I needed to pay for dings as a result of hail. The inspector report said that everything was fine. I told the dealer that if he had an issue he needed to speak with the company that did the inspection.

I guess it passed inspection because I got a check back from Acura.

Just so I'm clear, are you saying BMW has a lower wear and tear allowance than Acura? I think Acura is 1500.
