Oh chill out. Did you know about half of NYC-based NY teams have stadiums in NJ? Crowd is no different, across the bridge from manhattan.

Lol, clearly you have never been to west new york or weekhawken. That area has as much in common with jersey shore as any other part of NYC.

Start/Finish is up top, just after that left hairpin, let's say right there at 'Liberty Skyline'. That would be the best pit straight IMO into a nice, fast looking right hander into a tight 90-left. Nice, fast, sweeping run into the chicane off JFK into a few 90's. Coming out of the righty at 'Port Imperial' DRS detection around the 'NY Waterway' with DRS activation after the right, in front of Ben and Jerry's there. High speed down into a super right (like turn 14 at China). Pit entrance is at the 'Y' in '...Defino WaY'

Honestly just bored at work and looking forward to India. Need my F1 fix after korea! lol

What elevation change? Looks like a flat course with one hill they go up and come back down. Aside from some potential around T5/T6, that looks pretty weak.

Isn't Monaco one hill?

I know, I was using the image you posted. It looks like the entire east side is flat and the west is too, with a sharp climb towards the west at T3 and a drop back down onto the east side. Essentially one hill. Now could there be some interest in the west area that's hard to read on that schematic, of course, but it sure as hell isn't Spa or Monaco in terms of frequent elevation changes and blind corners, but then none of Hermann Tilke's tracks are very interesting either, so converting a road circuit is probably just as good.

No, not really.

And there is really no reason to compare any street course to Monaco. Monaco is on a whole different level.

I really do think Monaco consists of only one large hill that they go all the way up and down but I generally agree that it defies comparison.

Only reason I said "not really", because the uphill and downhill are broken up in sections of the track.

You start going uphill after Rasscasse, then there is small straight before Sainte Devote then you start going uphill again. After Casino the track starts downhill through the hairpin. Then the long tunnel run before you go down again to marina level and the chicane.
