Any health nuts in this group??

Just wanted to know if there are any fellow health nuts on the E90post.

I try to eat healthy, especially now since "beach time" is coming soon. I typically hit the gym at least 4 times a week. Mostly weight training, but cardio is slowing working back into the routine.

I think i have a good balance when it comes to eating. I def dont have to really watch what i eat, but i try to do everything in moderation. If i eat bad one day, then ill work out a lil harder the next day. In general, moderation is the key. I wont shy away from pizza or ice cream, but i wont have to every other day either. Wacky diets may help ppl lose weight quickly (in the beginning) but it always comes back. The best thing is to just excersize, and consume equal/less of your daily calorie needs.

I work out 4x a week. I usually do 20-25 mins of cardio (stairmaster, elliptcal). Then i lift weights, and do abs. Roman chair, crunches, medicine ball. Im proud of my stomach lol!

Yea.. i guess its a personal choice. I rather go run 90 mins on a soccer field, come off breathless, sweaty, and sore.

Yoga is so relaxing though. I mean I like running too but I swear after a yoga workout I am like the happiest person to be around. I walk it off afterwards and I can't stop looking at how green the grass is, how sweet the birds sound, how beautiful the sky is.....it's like I'm on E lol. I am super friendly to everyone, and like high feeling for like an hour. I think it only works if you really get into it and do it the right way though.

Uhm.. well.. I'm usually a fairly healthy person but lately I've been hungry ALL THE TIME. I must be pregnant. Kidding. Bad joke.

Anyway.. I play Volleyball and Soccer competetiveley so that's enough of a workout when I'm in season.

When I go to the gym, I do mostly cardio and weight training comes second. I usually do 20ish minutes of cardio, give or take. I then go stretch myself out, and do weight lifting. I just work out a couple of muscles in my upper body, and then do lower body the next time i go to the gym. After lifting, I'll go to the back and do abs. Mostly crunches and litlte weird exercises with the ball and this elastic thing that almost resembles a jump rope. After that, sometimes I'll go swim in the pool and sit in the sauna, or I'll go do a cool down cardio exercise. TA DA! It takes a little over an hour to do everything.

Sometimes I'll get workout happy and do more, but I'm rarely thatttt determined.

Oh yeah, the gym also offers little classes.

I;ve done yogal. I pretty much suck at it. I've also done speed abs, salsa!!!, kick boxing and speed cycling. Speed cycling is so hard! everyone in there is so good at it and i'm super tired after liek 5 minutes. ahh the lagger.

Too funny!

My wife is a yoga instructor.

Everyone starts of like that. Then you're not 20 anymore and you can really appreciate the relaxation of meditation, deep breathing, deep streching.

I'd bet HALF the people on anti-depressants could get off them by practicing yoga 2-3 times a week.

You never felt so good. F*** Yoga -- LOL!
