At one point I was a fan of the M6, until I test drove one.

Meh overrated, there's better cars for $100K+.

Though I love the rear and that MV10.

I was the opposite. Never a big fan of the car until I drove it. Now living with it everyday it is sooo addicting. I get bored pretty easy. My E55 put me asleep after a month. IMO the 6 is a perfect DD. Plus you never see them around here (OC).

I must say I do miss the gas mileage I got in the 335. Plus it was so easy to toss around...had a lot of fun in it.

Who pays over 100k for an M?

You know I could have afforded the M6 if I really wanted to, but this $50K 335 is a hell of a fun car for what it is. I live in the city and really the low end torque this thing puts down is addicting. I've owned //M's and there's no comparison, an M is an M. Every enthusiast should at least own an M at some point, they're great cars ....but I just don't see the appeal in a DD //M anymore.

Overall I was underwhelmed with the M6, at least when I drove it. You can get into some pretty badass cars for $100K+.

Now if you got it used a few years for like $55-60K that's a steal. Wouldn't want to take the first year hit on these baby's.

L8Apex,

The only important thing is that you are happy with your purchase and are enjoying your time with the car.

Same here - I never thought twice about the M6 until I drove one at the M School this year, where I was very impressed with it. It's one of my top picks for if I ever replace my Z4MC (along with the AM V8 Vantage or Ferrari 360). Used, it's a better bang for the buck than either.

If I had the amount to get the M6 i would have settle with a GTR which is 40,000 less or wait for the LFA once it comes out.

Nice.... considered the M6 as well but the 335 is the better DD (for me), less maintenance and it would kill me to spend $50K for a car that has a new body style change in a couple months.

Enjoy it, sweet ride.

moot point but.....the LFA is not even in the same market segment at $432,615 base price.

Nice car, but too heavy IMO....of course I track my vehicles...so weight wouldn't be an issue for a DD.
