Hey, I know that dude - I met him at the drag strips and he's manual and even with a 2.1 launch, he was passing me at the end of the strip. I think he traps high teens in the 1/4. I honestly think that putting a LSx into the M3s over the years would've given a better sports sedan... Lighter and faster and lower CG.

I hope you're joking.
It's more likely that it's an LS1, but it's impossible to tell without getting a close look at it. The engines are nearly identical on the outside and it's common to swap LS1 throttle bodies onto the newer engines in applications like this. |
