f*** dog got stolen

i go this restaurant in chinatown to get take out often. so today there was a ton of snow on the ground from the snowstorm we had yesterday. i decided to take the winter beater (dodge stratus) out and my dog. i parked one block away from the restaurant, left the dog in the car with the doors locked.

i came back in literally 10mins because the chinese food is kind of like a fast food place. so i come back to the car and see that its still locked. but the dog isnt inside anymore. then i got out of the car again and saw that the drivers door locked has been broken. its been pushed into the door. the car was locked when i got to it but the dog is obviously missing...

he's just over 3 months old and he's gone! i am afraid its some homeless person that took it because that area has a lot of homeless hanging around.

what the fuck's going to happen to the dog!? hows the homeless bastard that stole it going to feed it ? plus its fucking -20C outside, and that isnt good news to a 3plus month old puppy.

the dog is a mini schnauzer, here's a pic of him. and my winter beater that those bastards broke into. FUCK!

i officially hate montreal right now. i got my old e90's window broken into TWICE downtown and now i lose my dog... urgh. and i thought he'll be fine for just 10minutes especially since it was fucking 2pm in the AFTERNOON in a busy area.

Really sorry to hear, but you should call Animal Services, someone may have "rescued" him from your car.

Does the dog have a chip?

Ouch. Probably one of those PETA people who thought a dog in that weather should not be locked in a car and decided to take drastic measures.

i was just about to get him a chip together with his 2nd set of vaccinations which is due soon. so right now this really blows cos there's no way anyone's going to know that the dog belonged to me.

I can't friggin believe it. In your car, locked. Chris, that is aweful. There are some seriously sick people out there to break into someones car and steal their dog. And in winter to boot. Simply nuts.

I would check out Kijiji.ca for a little while to see if some sicko tries to sell it there.

it doesnt have my address but it has my phone number... but i doubt someone who broke my car's lock to steal the dog is going to call me up and tell me that he/she has my dog.

well actually i didnt. i drove around the area for a good 40 mins before going to the cops. i am just about to eat now. i am going to put up a few pictures at the local SPCA just in case someone comes in with him. thanks a lot for your support!
