Diy dci intake
Hi guys,
Just wanted to get some feedback on using oiled foam filters. I know the n54 does not run a Maf sensor so the oiling should not be an issue. I wanted to make my own air intake using some aluminium 2.25 piping and 2x of the below linked filters. http://www.uniflow.com.au/contents/en-us/d14.html Total cost of this intake comes to only $60 and will look quite good I'd imagine. Most cold air intakes of the shelf come to $200+ here in Australia. Thoughts and opinions? |

95$, they usually pop up in the classifieds for 50/60 Id suggest this route, the universal filters look cheap, but that's just my opinion! |

Shipping and conversion to aussie dollars bring it too over $200. Uni filters are very good quality used in carouse types of motorsport In Australia and other parts of the world. Filtration tests put them above other types according to their website.
Just wanted something that looked a little different. |

go to ebay and get two 3" intake filter. Go to home depot and get you two 2"-3" connector from pluming section. Look a lot better than BMS DCI for 35$.
