MHD/XHP Question

Hi,
I have an 11 335i Xdrive and MHD Stage 2+....When I flashed MHD I suggested the Auto XI Transmission option but now I want to get the xHP Stage 3 TCU flash and from some videos/posts- it appears that if you have xHP Stage 3 TCU and then flash MHD- you should select Manual Transmission?

Will I still get the most out of xHP Flash or?

Should i flash the ECU back to stock > xHP Stage 3 Flash > re-flash MHD Stage 2+ ?

Many thanks in advance.

Just answered your question in the MHD thread. MHD now has an option to check XHP flashed AT.

It doesn't matter what order you do them in, as long as you select the manual transmission option for MHD while flashing.

It's the same screen as choosing the type of transmission you have. It has DCT, Auto , Manual , Auto with Alpina, Auto with XHP

It's like that in the N54 app but not the N55 app. Flash for a manual transmission if you have xHP installed.

Good point- I just checked the xHP manual again and it is right towards the end

Q: I’m using MHD. What Map version should I flash?

A: For MHD N54 use the xHP transmission setting, for MHD N55 use the Alpina setting.
