Hooly SHIT! I know F1 drivers sometimes put their lives on the line while racing, but that just takes it to a whole new level.

Sounds like Sao Paolo is truly out of control

Its not the first time security outside the circuit raised some issued in Sao Paulo...Toyota team crew was attacked by gunned ambush, and I heard some FOM officials were robbed/mugged as well.....
too bad it wasn't Bernie who got mugged....otherwise the muggers will find a lot more $$$ than everyone else on the grid....

too bad things like these kept overshadowing the great motorsport event in Brazil...soon they will also held the Olympic games and World Cup....

Rain in Q1 and starting to dry at the end of Q2....
then a dry line starting to form during Q3 and everyone changing to dry tires under changing track condition...and just Hulkenburg get the best out of the situation....great job!!!

I'm glad that he wasn't injured. I hope it doesn't shake him up too much for the race.

Good call on McLaren for equipping their boys with those armored cars.

Its a shame that such an awesome track was surrounded by bad neighborhood. or generally speaking its lot more risk in Brazil Sao Paulo....

Will you think the big teams will expand their paddock area and amenities to accommodate high-end driver's living quarters? Cause I'd would guess inside the track is lot more safer than "commute" from hotel and race track. Probably just police escort will be sufficient (as long as they're not corrupted).

Of course I did. But was surprised at the difference, since everybody had a chance to put at least 2 hot laps at the end. Guess he had more balls than the others . Looking forward to tomorrow's race .

I was thinking the same thing. There are clearly hotels right outside of the venue, but a hotel in the paddock just for race personnel sounds like a decent option. I could see Bernie making some sort of remark about that tomorrow at the race, or shortly thereafter.

Fantastic race. Will be very interesting to see how things play out next week. Seems like FA pretty much has to fall on his face to not win his third title.

That obviously comes out of the minds of cheaters . If somebody wanted to test Horner he really meant no team orders if drivers had a shot at the title, this was it. And I have my deepest respect for this guy who not only kept his promise, but pretty much gave up the driver's title to preserve the purity of the sport.

Maybe, but is he doesn't win by more than 7 points, it'd be yet another illegitimate win for the cheater-in-chief .

I liked Vettel's comments about FA: 'I don't wish him bad, but it'd be nice to see some Ferrari smoke' . He should have added: 'just like he did from me last race'. Hope the cheater DNFs, but with the freshest engine, it's unlikely, at least from the purely mechanical point of view. But somebody could always take him out . That's what he deserves, but we'll see next week.

Hey, what does the team win by one of his drivers winning the driver's title? Ferrari can't put it in his cars, since it wasn't the constructors, right? Just curious.

Not a damn thing! That's why the whole BS with Ferrari making Massa give up the position was such utter garbage. All the money for the TEAM comes from the Constructors title. Drivers get sponsonship and since FA brings along Santander he is the Queen of the team. He needs to be bitch slapped!
