cool technology, but why would I want to have to walk up to my window to go on the internet?

i think this is gonna be more practical for an office or business but i mean, most of my kitchen tables are usually by a window haha so I could see where this could be used practically in a home as well

I am curious; so is this actually on a window or is it an LED screen that they call a "window"? Neither of which is really useful. If it really is a window; then darkening it out or using the blinds still uses electricity and falsely tints the window using video. What's the point of that?

The second... is as someone has already mentioned; why would I want to access twitter on my window when I already have it on my BMW, my phone, my computer, my TV, my DVD player and just about every other household device. The world is going crazy...

They'll probably be marketed for business use first, especially considering price. I'm betting they'll start showing up in lots of office conference rooms. Easy to use for presentations, especially with the touch screen functionality.

Who the fuck comes up with this shit? I mean really, how is this in anyway useful? Nvm the fact that who ever has this is going to need a bottle of windex by ever window as once he's done playing or doing whatever the fuck with is ughhhh window there's gunna be finger prints all over it. Well now I'm off to put this technology in glass tables since I'm sure it will be the next big thing....fuck sakes

Cool, but I don't see it being a relavent technology for all the same reasons others have posted. What do you do when the power goes out and you want to shut the blinds?

Very cool. Looks like with this technology I could make the massive windows in my family room tv's and watch the game or stream a movie etc. Would make the 60" tv I have in there now obsolete and out of site when I want it to be.
