Plus it can be subbed for hot sauce/ketchup. For instance, if you want wings and only chose BBQ, you can have BBQ wings. No ketchup for fries? BBQ sauce for dipping is even better!

I suppose you could do hot sauce ribs, hot sauce brisket, hot sauce pork, etc, but it won't be as good as taking those items and smothering them in some good ole sweet bbq sauce after they've been slow smoking for hours.
