I pre ordered/paid for a PS4. I currently play both ps3 and 360 regularly. However, i was disapointed by that Microsoft execs comments regarding military service members back when the X1 still had plans for their DRM and always online service.

Just because it supports features for family purposes does not mean it isn't also a next-generation video gaming console... The new games look great, but I'd buy a used 360 for $100 before I buy a One for $500...

Not a direct insult, but in a round about way... They were specifically asked about blogs (some written by military stationed outside the US) about not being able to connect and stuff. The guy said if you can't connect to the internet, get a 360. Kinda screwed up...

Ok... I get it now lol. When I was over there (long time ago) we did have certain "hUB" locations on some of the more established bases that would have an XBOX and or a Play Station for Service members to play on in their down time. Kinda like going to the gym, or the phone/computer trailers to contact home.

Of course, there were no online capabilities on the game consoles, so we would either play a fighting game or split screen shooter to allow for multiple people to get a chance to play within a limited time window.

Either way, Service members overseas will not be accessing their live accounts on any gaming platforms anytime soon, but hopefully they come back home in one piece, then they can rack up on all the gaming experiences they have been missing, lol.

Amazon just added more preorders for the xbox one, and I managed to snag one. Hopefully I'll still be able to get it on Friday! (doesn't seem like I should've gotten it, but I'll know it happened whenever it posts to my bank account)

I saw New York release day yesterday and I am so glad I did not have to wait in lines of hundreds to thousands of folks to get turned away with no system.

I was second in a line of 8 and waited 120 minutes in 20 degree weather. We had cops, high military brass, firefighters, etc all in line for the release here.

I was in line at best buy, only to get my refund back. I dont need an " all in one" that upscales to 1080p. Not knocking it bc some games look fun like dead rising 3 even though it runs at 720p. But titanfall will be one of there big exclusives and maybe only one that would make me reconsider and actually buy it then.

But hope you guys are enjoying it.
