Really looking forward to this! Scientology aside... Tom Cruise is without question, one of the best actors and probably THE best 'action film actors' on the planet! The guy recently broke his ankle filming the next Mission Impossible! He insists on doing his own stunts, because he, "Knows the audience can tell the difference when you add in stuntmen." Nothing but respect for that mindset.

But this particular genre never gets old: Drug Cartel, Mexico, South America, etc.

I'll give you all a full review in ten years, or a bit more. Usually I'm that slow, and I'm still watching the latests of humphrey bogart films. That man is really hot tho.

Big Marcus, this movie will be fantastic and really hits home for me as he is both from and was killed in my home town. It's really a legendary story and I think Tom Cruise is the perfect actor to tell his story.

Maybes that's because the Canuck airforce has a shortage of pilots. How many 56 year old fighter pilots do you know then?
In the USAF only 3.4% of fighter pilots are over 45 years old & someone over 50 is apparently at the extreme end of the curve, according to USAF basic demographic information but I'm sure if old Tom did a top gun remake it'd be a good film

He nailed Jack Reacher? He is as far from the character in the books as you could get. It's like watching Danny DeVito trying to portray The Rock. I couldn't even bring myself to watch the second movie.
