ROFLMAO. I was waiting for you to see this thread. I'm gonna take some dented aluminum cans, and play with them.

I can possibly try this out on my friends civic.
I threw a water bottle at his car while going 80 on a road with noone on it. =X...it made a small dent on his door =D

I ONLY DID IT BECAUSE HE DID IT FIRST!
if my friends threw something out the window to hit my car, i would've thrown a spare wheel at his car... going 80mph...

I'm sure it depends on how long the dent has been there and even after that, I'm doubt that once the metal is deformed plastically it'll be fixed with the dry ice. The ice will give it more of an elastic deformation. So it should be likely to return to the state of plastic deformation over time.

How many did I lose?

I don't know what it is, but I've had that Explorer for over 10 years now, and no major dings. I own my 330i for little over a year, and I can see where people have chipped paint from the fender from opening their door into it.

yah...each one of our family cars has at least some sort of damage...but everytime I see other people's car, they don't have a scratch on it and they had it for like decades.

any one with an update on this?
