Urgent (going out in 1 hour):"Dating" and paying? :)

So i've got two good friends (couple) and last week i went out with them and a friend of theirs. It seems like the girl is interested and sure as hell I am. So we are going out again the fuor of us to a restaurant and i was wondering whether it would be good or bad if i offer to pay for the girl's dinner. Am leaning towards not-pay because its not exactly a date. Womens opinions really appreciated

Don't pay unless it's just you and her. Wait till you start dating...you will have plenty of opportunities to pay then.

I can never let a lady pay that i don't know yet... Lets say you two do go out again after time shes gunna hate that you always pay and once in a BLUE MOON you can let her pay but other then that just pay and see where it goes dont worry you will feel better in the morning knowing you didnt let this poor girl pay for her food.

Either you pay your own meal only, or you pick up the ENTIRE tab for the whole table. You only pay for 2 of you when you are officially a couple.

Just pay for her. Her $20-30 meal won't break the bank and she'll appreciate the gesture. Think of it as a good $20-30 investment if things go well, which you make them seem that way...

dont pay. gotta play hard to get. act like your shit dont stink to get into the pink. be nice and respectful, but dont show intrest. show what she is missing if she dosnt get involved with you. the best think would be is pull out a bunch of cash and pay for it all and have them pay u back. it looks alot better. say u dont have your card on u.

Thanks for the advice guys

The whole thing flew really smooth. I had a great time and she did too.
It helped a lot having my two good friends there. No awkwardness whatsoever.

I finally decided not to pay (as it was my original thought) since it would seem a bit weird maybe if i did given that i only saw her once before.

I send her a message today saying i had a good time and told her that if she felt the same way we could organize something similar again. She said that this would be great!

All in all i feel quite happy

Stand by for next "date" or date question
