I'd rather pull barbed wire through my urethra than go out shopping tomorrow. I'll stay home and watch the kids.

I'll only go out tomorrow for beer and/or wine, and maybe to a cigar shop.

i've gone in the past, its a nightmare. First the lines usually wrap around the store twice, and then once you're in there, you're unlikely to find what you want. Not to mention parking is a nightmare and the highway is full of morons doing 100+ to get to the next store.

I passed by Circuit City yesterday and there were 3 tents outside. People were camping out since then!!!

No real deals that I know of and I'm not in a need for anything at the moment. I heard Amazon might be reducing prices on certain items, including video games, but not sure of the accuracy of that yet.

Fry's is selling a 50" Samsung Plasma for $897. Im sure people are gonna be lining up like crazy though.

Quick question for you guys: plasma or lcd??

Yes, well unless its not a doorbuster/early bird item. the tv i want (but cant get, out of funds) isnt a door buster, just check to see and call around or drive over first thing in the am 6am

I just got a 46" samsung LCD with all the bells and whistles that I will never use. If you watch sports....get the plasma. The LCD looks great but at points there is digital tiling - even with motion control and a speedy processor.

I should have got the plasma. Even if it lasts 8 years - that's still pretty long and lcd's only last a bit longer anyway.
