Math people in here, Complex Linear Algebra

Alright, so its been a while since I've taken this stuff, but wanted some quick help if anyone remembered off the top of their head.

Solving augmented matrices with the complex numbers (i)

trying to figure out if these two matrices A and B are equivalent.

A:
(2+i)x1 - x2 = 1
x1+ix2 =i

this can be expressed as:
[2+i -1 | 1]
[1 i | i ]

B:
[1+2i -i | 2+i ]
[2+2i -2 | 0]

thanks in advance. easy I know, but I forgot how to do the row elem operations...

All those lines dont even make sense to me. I literally have no idea what im looking at and almost thought that it was fake. I assume its not fake and so i really really have no idea. Post the answer whenever you find it.

Include your work, so we dont think you used a calculator.

lol, well for reference i = sqrt(-1) so i^2 = -1

i'm trying to reduce it to the form of an identity matrix:
1 0 | 1
0 1 | 0

yeah from what I worked out, they may not be equal but we'll see... :-/

And how can it be so hard if your working with 0, 1, and 2. Those arent even big numbers!
