It's my moms, but she's happy to have me drive it since she doesn't drive a lot.

The exhaust note is pure sex. It has such a loud bark to it. It's sooo amazing.

with the c63 and the m3 what the hell was a guy i know thinking buying the isf..he already is selling it..it's so loose.. it feels like it has no power cause it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find the right gear with the 8 speed paddles..i mean it's rediculous.. you get lost so easy in there..funny too cause i know yours has a 7 speed which i can deal with..but the 8 in the lexus no way in hell..what a terrible trans to shift with paddles..i mean HORRIBLE..and people complain about smg..my god!!! help the souls that hate idrive cause they are too uninteligent and kill whoever came up with the idea we need 8 gears in a sports car!!! oh and people who aren't a fan of active steering and they haven't even driven a car with one!!

but in the end i want to say c ongrats again and wait don't floor it..you really really need to break in that amg engine..we have had 6 amg mercs in the past 4 amg mercs all new from 2002 -2008 models all s55's and s63's and you HAVE TO BREAK THEM IN LIKE AN M car!!! do the 1200 mile oil change and treat that car with respect... you are gonna have a blast in it blowing the doors off of 99.999% of what's on the road!!! keep that baby shiney there is a lot of chrome!!!!
Please drive one. You'll really be surprised. The car can handle. The steering isn't mushy and slow like old AMG's (like the CLK55); it's crisp, tight, and informative. The suspension is also a feat of engineering. The car has virtually no body roll, but it manages to cope with bumps very well! Just drive one before you make any assumptions.

Believe me, I thought I was set with believing that there would be no competition between me liking either the M3 with the DKG or this. I was so wrong.

I have tested drive C350 and C300. The seating feel good .the dash have alot of electronic stuff and look luxury. But the performance, It does not match power to power, and torque to torque with BMW. if i was not a fan of BMW and Tech for them, i would get Mercedez benz. Also if i was into need for speed, i would get Mercedez Benz.

I believe the Black version of the C63 AMG is CL63 AMG. Price tag with fully option is 150K

You have more cars than your dad? That's interesting...

Bimmer Loyalist, congratulations on the car! You could go on some nice photoshoots with the 335i and the C63 for sure!

i hate mercedes benz, first because of its depreciation, you pay 65k now, and you like to sell it in two or three years and youŽll loose the half of it, and second becuase mercedes benz just want to put the biggest engines in their amg carŽs, without considering other things more important, c63 is a very powerfull car i admit it, but is not just having the biggest engine.

Two things:
1) I've driven a C300 Sport. You can't really compare anything in it to the C63. The suspension, the handling, the power, the noise, nothing really.

2) That's CL63. It's a completely diff car.

Besides fuel economy issues, I think the engine is just fine for the car as it is. It's detuned ya know. The CA told me a guy already got an ecu tune to bump the power up over 500hp.

and it keeps the warranty intact? Its not surprising considering the fact this engine is in, what? 4 or 5 other models?

If by 4 or 5 you mean (eventually) every single model they produce then yes, yes it is. (SLR AND SLK excepted, though it may get shoehorned into the SLK this time around)

GTR is a heavy pig... but everybody thinks its great... & it is.

but yeah. i drove my friend's C350 in the hills... steering response wasnt as great as the bmw, but it was certainly better than previous C class in terms of handling. the speed wasn't quite there, but mercedes isnt really in the HP race
