What should i do??

Haha i called monmouth to speak w/ the dean .The woman said we dont really have a dean. Um ok? Then she said well let me look up your file. She said i was never accepted, cause theres no acceptance letter to be sent out. I said why did i recieve a phone call stating i was, AND explaining that i was awarded money also. She said i dont know, but your status is IE (incomplete). Meaning that i wasnt accepted until my grades. So the advisor screwed herself by calling me, she admitted that the department told her to wait. Now they are saying that im not accepted, yet the lady told me that it wasnt reversed. What a bunch of wackos.

Will you be dorming at Hofstra? I would definitely bring the car unless you don't mind taking a cab everywhere. It's about a 30 min drive into the city. Having a car will make it a lot easier. There are a few bars/clubs in the area. There are a few malls in the area also. Actually there is an on-campus bar also.

Yes ill be living on campus. I wasnt sure if the bus/subway was close by. But if i need to go shopping or get groceries..etc. then i prob will want to bring my car.

oh damn that's like a whole diff. world. New Yorkers drive on sidewalks so be careful over there. You def. need to bring your car in case u wanna drive around (weekend getaways) or something. Wait a min...if u move, what's gonna happen with that dude?? Haha

There maybe buses but definitely no subways. Those are only in NYC and the 5 boroughs (Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island).

I spoke with a woman at monmouth, shes a little higher than my advisor. she said shes going to investigate this and get back to me
