How much less would you pay?

So I am about to get my '07 335 coupe back with about 13,000. It has been at the BMW body shop being fixed for about the last 3 1/2 months or so. I am just looking to get some input from you guys about how much less I would get for my car if I were to sell it now, after having roughly $25K in damage done to it. I plan on getting an estimate when I get my car back this week to see what the dealer will give me vs. the KBB. Right now the car is at about 38-40K on KBB.

The damage was done to the front left quarter panel and wheel area but they had to replace pretty much the whole front suspension. Also they had to do some sort of repair to 2 of the firewalls which the body shop guy told me would prevent my car from ever becoming a certified used BMW. That kinda blows. Anyway my ultimate goal is to recoup the diminished value from the insurance and look into getting a new car, but just thought I would see if anyone up late had some guesses at to how much the car is now depreciated.

You weren't allowed to refuse the work!?!?!? That's insane. Especially if they had to perform repairs that will not allow the car to become certified used, which the only person it screws is the owner. Insurance companies fucking suck. I'm sorry but I think you're definitely going to get bent over on this car due to your retarded insurance.

Good luck

If the damage was $25k i'm surprised the insurance company didn't cut their losses and call it totaled...

If the car is worth 35-40K that would not be 'cutting their losses'.

35-25 = 10.

Well didn't find out that it would never be a certified used vehicle until about 2 months into the work. Their willingness to pay the diminished value makes it OK for me as I can sell the car and take the money they give me to walk away with right about what I should have. Yeah this whole thing has sucked big time. Just was wondering how much value I have lost on the car. I guess I will find out more tomorrow when I get an estimate.

I always thought a cpo could never be in an accident. sorry to hear you were in an accident but with 25k in damage you are lucky to be alive...
