Depending how I feel after getting off my night shift on sunday morning, I might head up there for the last half of the race.

I was there for the start of the race last year, was really cool. Got some really great pictures, you can go here to see those:

Also, I tried shooting video while taking pics at the same time (I dont recommend this, lol) here is the start of the race last year:

Two hours to go.

The #82 BMW 135i is 44th. Nice work! Unfortunately, they are 2nd in a two-car class behind a very quick Audi RS 4 (24th overall).

The BMW GT2's have been quick, but it looks like the Porsche hybrid has this one for the overall win.

The #25 BMW ALMS M3 GT2 takes the overall WIN the 24hr of Nürburgring race!!!

Other noteworthy cars:
- The other ALMS BMW M3 GT2, the #26, placed 7th and finished in formation.
- Ferrari's debut year placed 2nd overall with their Hankook F430 GTC car.
- The Hybrid Porsche led the race since 5am, and at hour 22 it died.
- A Porsche GT3 RS, street registered and still has the plates on it and was driven to the track, placed 13th overall.
- The only 135i in the race placed a respectable 43rd overall (not sure of the class placing).
- Out of the top 10, BMW placed 1st, 4th, 7th and 9th overall.

Much congrats go out to BMW!!!

As much as I am happy to see BMW win it, it was sad to see the Porsche die. That car was flawless the entire race, it was like clockwork that thing. Luckily, the hybrid Porsche did return and I think it placed in the top 20.

+1

the GT3 R Hybrid was running perfectly...
no other competitor could have beaten it

Congrats to Ferrari as well...nice performance for a debut

The Opel OPC Team did quite a good job as well, considering the fact that the drivers were still amateurs just a few months ago

BMW won...love it!
Hope that this will repeat with an even better E92 next year!
